A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with recent robbery incidents in South East Dublin.

At approximately 11:15pm on Tuesday 21st November 2023, a man entered a service station on Clonkeen Road and threatened staff at knife point before leaving empty-handed.

Shortly after another person entered a pharmacy on Foxrock Avenue, threatened staff with a knife before leaving with a sum of cash. No one was physically harmed.

Following enquiries by detectives from Cabinteely, the man was arrested on Tuesday is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in the Dublin Region.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
