Dublin flights impacted as heavy snow hits Germany

A number of flights to and from Dublin Airport have been cancelled on Saturday due to adverse weather conditions in parts of Germany.

Flights to and from Munich have been cancelled due to heavy snow in the German city.

According to the Dublin Airport website, two outbound Lufthansa flights to Munich have been cancelled, in addition to three inbound flights operated by Lufthansa and Aer Lingus.

Munich Airport cancelled all flights until at least 6am local time on Sunday due to the snowfall.

On Saturday morning, around 320 of 760 flights planned for Saturday had been cancelled.

Passengers are being advised to check with their airline for updates.
