M50 traffic jam: Severe delays after seven-vehicle crash during morning rush hour

A seven-vehicle crash led to the closure of two lanes of a motorway during the morning rush hour.

Dublin Fire Brigade responded to the collision on the southbound M50 on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened near junction 9 Red Cow.

Lanes two and three were closed.

A number of small vans and cars were involved in the crash.

An ambulance also went to the scene.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Dublin Fire Brigade said: “Recovery is well under way, we hope to clear soon.”
