Affidea, a provider of diagnostic imaging, out-of-hospital services, has announced they will create over 180 jobs across the island of Ireland.

The firm currently has 19 clinical facilities, and employs 400 people.

Investment in 2023 has led to the creation of 60 new jobs, while a new medical clinic in Belfast will lead to the creation of 120 new jobs.

Barry Downes, Chief executive of Affidea Ireland, Barry Downes said the investment will create jobs across a variety of clinical and non-clinical positions, including radiographers, doctors and nurses, and key managerial and administrative roles.
