Gardaí have arrested a man in relation to a fatal hit-and-run in Dublin which occurred on Wednesday, October 4th.

Gardaí in Mountjoy Garda Station have arrested the man in relation to the investigation into the hit-and-run, which took place at Cross Guns Bridge on the Phibsborough Road, Dublin 7.

A woman in her 60s was killed in the incident.

The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested today, and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a garda station in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
