Stretch of Dublin motorway closes for hours after fatal incident

A stretch of Dublin motorway is to remain closed for hours following a fatal incident.

The incident took place on the N3 motorway at Blanchardstown at about 10.50am on Friday morning.

The N3 inbound is expected to remain closed for a number of hours to allow for an examination of the scene.

Gardaí are at the scene and local diversions are in place.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
