Man arrested over footage appearing to show shots being fired over a coffin

A man has been arrested by detectives investigating video footage which appears to show masked men firing shots into the air over a coffin.
The incident is believed to have happened in Derry earlier this month.

A police spokesperson said: “He was taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite where he remains at this time, assisting with inquiries.
“Our investigation is ongoing and anyone with information that could help with our inquiries is asked to contact police on 101.
“Information can be provided anonymously by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
