The man in his 20s was attacked in the Divismore Crescent area and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

A man has been shot three times in the legs in west Belfast.

Shortly after 9pm on Wednesday evening, it was reported that a man in his 20s had been shot repeatedly in the legs, in the Divismore Crescent area.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

A cordon was put in place as police began investigations into the incident.

Anyone with any information which could assist with police inquiries is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting reference number 1902 27/09/23.
