Gardaí seized approximately €100,800 of combined drugs, €1,600 in cash and arrested one man during an Operation Tara search that took place in Finglas, Dublin 11, on Monday.

Finglas gardaí conducted the search at approximately 11.15pm. Drugs suspected to be cannabis herb, valued at €75,600 and cocaine, valued at €25,200, were seized along with €1,600 in cash.

A male (18) was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday as part of this investigation, and is currently detained at a garda station in north Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

All of the suspected drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
