Digital construction services provider Strata has announced it will create up to 40 new positions as part of its international expansion plan which will see the firm double its workforce.

The Dubin-based company said the majority of the new roles will be based in Ireland and will be created over the next three years.

The positions will be across construction, scheduling and planning management, 4D/5D digital services, BIM management, sustainability, data analytics, and forensic delay analysis.

Commenting on the announcement, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Simon Coveney said: "Enterprise Ireland’s Build to Innovate initiative is one of the actions we are taking under the Government’s Housing for All plan to drive innovation, productivity and structural change in the construction sector.

"Irish companies like Strata are critical for this, helping a cross sector of companies to develop competitive advantage in their construction planning processes by using cutting edge products and services that are better performing, more efficient, more environmentally sustainable, and more effective for their customers."
