Woman in hospital after serious Dublin collision involving two cyclists

Two cyclists have been injured in a serious collision in Dublin on Monday morning.

The crash between a male and female cyclist happened at about 10am on Botanic Road in Glasnevin.

The female has been taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries. The male's injuries have been described as non-life-threatening.

Botanic Road is currently closed and diversions are in place.

Gardaí at Mountjoy Garda Station are asking for any witnesses to the collision to contact them.

Anyone with camera footage and who was in the area of Botanic Road or Iona Road between 9am and 10.30am on Monday can contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
