Man charged in connection with Kildare fatal assault

A man has been charged in connection with a fatal assault in Co Kildare last month.
A man aged in his 40s was fatally assaulted outside a residence in Newbridge on Wednesday, March 8th.
A second man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on Friday and was detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí confirmed the man has since been charged in relation to the incident and is due to appear before Naas District Court on Saturday afternoon.
