Five people, including two gardaí, have been treated in hospital following a car crash in Dublin.

It happened on the Crumlin Road at around 8:30pm last night when an official garda car collided with another vehicle.

All those hurt were taken to St James' Hospital with their injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The road has since reopened.
