Gardaí investigating theft of statue from Wicklow church

Gardaí in Wicklow are investigating the theft of a statue in the north of the county.

A statement from gardaí on Wednesday confirmed officers "are investigating the theft of statue from a church in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow".

It is believed the theft occurred on Monday, February 6th.

Gardaí added investigations into the matter are ongoing.
