Rod Stewart welcomes sixth grandchild after daughter Ruby gives birth

Rod Stewart has welcomed his sixth grandchild after his daughter Ruby gave birth.
The third daughter of the 81-year-old performer welcomed her second child with her fiancé Jake Kalick last week.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Ruby shared a series of photos of her newborn in hospital with the family.
She wrote: “We welcomed our little(big) Levi Rhodes Kalick at 6:58pm on 8/4/26 at 9lbs 20inches … his name Levi means my heart and his arrival has grown our hearts to 10 times the size…
“Seeing Otis and Levi meet for the first time might have been the greatest experience of my life so far… Otis is already the best big brother, and we are already so in love with this sweet boy… Welcome sweet Levi!”
The post included photos of Ruby with Otis, three, in her lap as he held his baby brother.
Another showed Otis watching over Levi as he slept, as well as one of Jake holding his sons.
Commenting on the post, Stewart’s ex-wife Rachel Hunter wrote: “Congratulations Ruby. Beautiful.”
His current wife Penny Lancaster added: “Precious boy, precious family.”
Ruby, 39, is Stewart’s only daughter with Kelly Emberg, an American model who appeared in publications including the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
The 67-year-old dated Stewart from 1983, and split in 1990.
He has eight children by five mothers, first welcoming eldest daughter Sarah Streeter – who was raised by adoptive parents – with ex-girlfriend Susannah Boffey.
He has daughter Kimberly and son Sean with his ex-wife Alana Stewart, to whom he was married from 1979 until 1984.
Stewart has daughter Renee and son Liam with Rachel Hunter, to whom he was married from 1990 until 2006.
The singer has sons Alastair and Aiden with Lancaster, who he married in 2007.
Aside from Ruby’s sons Otis and Levi, Stewart is a grandfather to Delilah, Louie, Elsie and one of Kimberly’s children, whose name she hasn’t shared publicly.
Ahead of the release of her memoir, titled Someone Like Me, last year, Lancaster admitted she was originally not a “fan” of the singer when she met him.
Speaking to Saga Magazine, she said: “I wasn’t a fan. And I definitely wasn’t thinking of a relationship because I was coming out of a long-term one, which wasn’t easy.
“Rod was such an unknown entity.”
Speaking about the night they met, where she went up to the singer to ask for an autograph, she said: “There were a lot of times after that night when I thought, ‘What the hell am I getting myself into?’, but Rod’s world was a vortex and I was sucked in.”
She also revealed that Sir Rod originally did not want to have more children, however, eventually changed his mind.
She added: “Now Rod always says, ‘I wish I’d said yes (to babies) earlier, because then we could have had more children’. Even five years ago we were talking about adopting, but it ended up not happening. We thought there might be too much of an age gap.”
