Holly Willoughby drinks wine and giggles over sexual innuendo in TV return

Holly Willoughby giggles over sexual innuendo with Stanley Tucci as she drinks wine and chats about her love of kebabs and Katy Perry in her return to daytime television.

The former This Morning star launched her new YouTube show Together with a 50-minute episode featuring The Devil Wears Prada actor.

The duo whip up an Italian courgette dish, pasta alla nerano, as they chat about his love of cooking and food after Willoughby jokes: “We can’t just stand here and drink all day, although it has been done before.”

Admiring the courgettes she is about to chop, she muses: “I’ve never seen one that looks like this.”

Tucci quips in response: “That’s not what I’ve heard.”

He then spots Willoughby’s TV executive husband Dan Baldwin behind the scenes and says: “Oh hi! And there he is!”

Willoughby adds: “Just as my husband walks into the room. Hello darling!”

The duo cook the pasta dish using pans from Tucci’s collaboration with GreenPan, which retail for £799 for an 11-piece set.

The pair also chat about Tucci’s life with his literary agent wife Felicity Blunt, the sister of Hollywood actress Emily Blunt.

Referring to a viral video Tucci shared of himself making a martini while listening to jazz with Felicity, Willoughby said: “I’m listening to Katy Perry and eating a kebab.”

During the episode the pair also play the “wooden spoon game”, in which Tucci chooses wooden spoons from a container that all have questions written on them.

They also discuss British foods including Rustlers burgers, Pot Noodles, Fray Bentos pies and Greggs sausage roll.

Giving his verdict on the latter, Tucci said: “It was very tasty and then I felt sorry after.”

Asked which Hollywood stars are good cooks, Tucci reveals: “Harry Styles is a good cook.

“He made a beautiful lemon pasta when I went to visit him last year, he’s really good.”

The show is sponsored by weight-loss brand Voy and during the show Willoughby advertises the GLP-1 provider.

The show marks Willoughby’s first return to daytime TV since she left This Morning after 14 years in 2023.

It came months after her co-host Phillip Schofield left after admitting to an “unwise, but not illegal” affair with a young male colleague.

In July 2024, Gavin Plumb was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 16 years after being convicted of soliciting murder and encouraging or assisting others to rape and kidnap her.

The show is described as being “built around the things she genuinely loves: cooking, honest conversations, fashion, health and the company of people with something genuinely worth saying”.

The description adds: “Real stories, recipes from the people who know them best and expert guidance on the everyday stuff we could all do with help on.

“Every episode is somewhere to learn, laugh and unwind.”

New episodes will be released every Tuesday and Friday.
