The sports and celebrity worlds will collide Friday night when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ‌marry in an all-night affair at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Page Six reported Thursday that festivities celebrating the nuptials of the pop ‌star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end will begin at 3.30pm (8.30pm Irish time) and go on until 2am (7am Irish time).

A cocktail hour will precede the ceremony, which Page Six reported will begin at 5.30pm on the floor of the famous arena. The reception is scheduled for 6.30pm to 2am.

The rehearsal dinner with about 100 guests will be held Thursday night at the Infosys Theater inside MSG. More than 1,000 guests are expected at the wedding, per Page Six.

Swift and Kelce, both 36, have released no details about the ceremony and are requiring guests to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Deliveries have been steadily arriving at Madison Square ‌Garden, ‌bringing in items that reportedly will transform the arena into a garden-themed wedding wonderland. Page Six reported that a "massive castle" is being built inside MSG for the wedding.

The New York Times reported that Swift rented the venue for multiple days, and Madison Square Garden meets the needs of the couple.

The building has an entrance that allows cars to bring people right inside the arena, ‌providing security and a paparazzi-free zone. Since the Garden floor has no windows, the event can be held with ultimate privacy. And with everything happening indoors, news helicopters won't disrupt the ceremony.

To fit the theme, workers have been seen carrying parts to create artificial trees into the building, and they also have been hanging fabric from the ceiling of the arena.

A few details have leaked out. Among them: The couple has instituted a "no- gift" rule and Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, a friend of Swift, is expected to perform.

As far as the guest list, those details have been limited as well, but supermodel Gigi Hadid, entertainers Selena Gomez, Zoe Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, the Haim Sisters, Sabrina Carpenter and Ed ‌Sheeran, as well as actress Emma Stone reportedly are on the guest list.

Jason Kelce presumably will serve as his brother's best man, and close friend Patrick Mahomes could be in the wedding party. Travis Kelce was ‌a groomsman when Mahomes married in 2022 in Hawaii.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid previously said he would attend, as did Claire Kittle, wife of San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle. Several members of the NFL tight end fraternity are expected to witness the wedding.

The couple began dating in the summer of 2023 after Kelce attended Swift's Eras Tour concert. They announced their engagement last August.
