'The Fitzy Fizz': GAA player turned Love Island star has drink named after him in Galway bar

The Front Door Pub in Galway has created 'The Fitzy Fizz' in honour of county GAA player turned Love Island star Seán 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald, who, it said, is a regular in the bar.

The pub, located in the heart of Galway’s Latin Quarter, said the summer cocktail was conceived to celebrate "Irish lad Fitzy in the Love Island Villa".

The cocktail contains Nora's pink gin, cranberry juice, lemon juice, and sugar syrup and is topped with Prosecco.

Fitzy is in a couple with Lola, and appears to be in a strong position in the villa, with Ladbrokes saying the pair are a firm favourite to win.

On Monday, the Galway GAA player's sister said she and the rest of his family love Lola, adding that she thinks the pair are the real deal.
