Venezuela Fury has said she “ain’t bothered” about criticism of her decision to get married at the age of 16.
The teenage reality star, who appears in the Netflix series At Home With The Furys alongside father Tyson Fury, tied the knot with boyfriend Noah Price, 19, on the Isle of Man last month.
In England and Wales, you must be at least 18 years old to marry or form a civil partnership, and it is illegal to marry under 18, even with parental consent.
The legal age for marriage in the Isle of Man is 16 with parental consent.
Discussing how she feels about her critics, she told ITV’s This Morning: “I think, as long it’s not my family or my friends, they’re the people what matter to me, I ain’t bothered.
“I don’t like people being unkind. I don’t agree with spreading badness where they shouldn’t be.
“But yes, I am young, but I found the person I want, and I’ve carried on with my life. Everyone’s got to start somewhere, so I started young.”
Asked how she’s finding married life, she said: “I’m enjoying it. We’ve only been married a month, but everything’s going smoothly.
“I’m learning new things every day. I’m learning how to cook. We go everywhere together. We do everything together. It’s really nice.”
Boxer Price told the show he “knew from the start” that he wanted to marry Venezuela.
He said: “I didn’t want to mess her about, I thought she was perfect.
“I was her first boyfriend, she was wife material. When I first seen her, I thought, yeah, I’m gonna marry that girl one day. And then I made the dream come true.”
The family’s reality show At Home With The Furys follows the heavyweight champion as he exits the ring and tries to embrace retirement with his family including his wife Paris, father John, and their children.
