Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny have been named the most streamed artists of all time by Spotify since it first launched nearly two decades ago.

Swift, 36, topped the Spotify At 20: The Most Streamed Music, Podcasts, and Audiobooks Of All Time list following a packed year for the singer, which has included the release of her 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl.

The album topped the UK charts and was named the best-selling album globally in 2025 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

Swift’s 2025 album was her first since she announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce in August, and she said in May that she had regained control of her back catalogue.

Earlier this year she released the music video for her single Opalite, which is reportedly about Kelce, and reached number one on the UK singles chart.

The music video features appearances by her fellow guests on an episode of The Graham Norton Show, including the presenter himself, Cillian Murphy, Lewis Capaldi and Domhnall Gleeson.

Bad Bunny also topped the most streamed albums of all time list with his 2022 record Un Verano Sin Ti.

The Puerto Rican rapper, also known as Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, enjoyed a triumphant year which saw him explode on to the international scene with his sixth studio album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos.

He made history at the Grammys as the first artist to win album of the year for a record sung entirely in Spanish, and followed that up with his anticipated Super Bowl half-time show.

The headline show was the fourth most-watched Super Bowl performance in the United States, according to viewership data.

Following behind as the most streamed artist was The Weeknd, known as Abel Tesfaye, with popstar and Wicked actress Ariana Grande at number five.

The Weeknd triumphed in the most streamed albums list, appearing three times with Starboy at number two followed by After Hours at number five and Beauty Behind the Madness at number 20.

Completing the top five was Ed Sheeran’s divide deluxe album at number three, while Oliva Rodrigo’s debut studio album Sour placed fourth.
