Tyson Fury has said thinking about his daughter Venezuela’s wedding is “out of bounds” until after his latest fight.

The former world heavyweight champion, 37, announced his retirement from boxing for the fifth time in 2025, and it was revealed earlier this year that he would be returning to the ring yet again this weekend.

As his latest fight approaches, Fury said he has had “zero” involvement with his eldest daughter’s wedding planning, as he has been too focused on his sport.

During a press conference, he spoke about the upcoming nuptials and said: “I’m looking forward to it, but that will have to wait until after Saturday night.”

He also praised his wife and daughter for their involvement in the wedding planning, and said: “Fair play to Paris and Venezuela, they’ve actually done this wedding without my input at all.

“I’ve had zero to do with it. I’m away doing business.

“I’m not thinking about domestic stuff at home. I’m thinking about the fight and that’s it. I’m out of bounds. Don’t tell me about anything like that.”

Venezuela announced her engagement to amateur boxer Noah Price on Instagram last September, and it is rumoured the couple will tie the knot later this year.

Fury also recounted the moment his future son-in-law asked for permission to marry his daughter, and said he offered him marriage advice.

He said: “He did ask for my permission. He came in and sat down and I explained that marriage is not an easy thing and they are only young kids.

“I asked if this is what they really want? He said yes and I gave him my blessing. Fair play, he wasn’t shaking but I could tell he was nervous. Fair play to him.

“He’s a heavyweight boxer and they say that a daughter always goes for someone like her dad and she definitely has.

“I don’t know if he’s had a stag do yet – if he does, I’ll be there and I’ll bring the strippers.”
