Foo Fighters' performance at Other Voices in St James' Church in Dingle is to air on RTÉ on Easter Monday.

The surprise set teased the band's forthcoming album Your Favourite Toy ahead of its release on April 24th.

The show will air on RTÉ 2 at 9.30pm on April 6th, and was filmed last month as a secret, one-night-only show with just 80 fans.

Foo Fighters kicked off the Other Voices 25th anniversary celebrations, as the series continually captures world-class artists in uniquely intimate spaces.

The one-hour episode features new tracks from the band's upcoming 12th studio album, alongside fan favourites including My Hero, Everlong and Times Like These, as well as deepcut A320, which had its first live outing since 2000.

Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters frontman, said that the band "have always had such a great time in Ireland," but have never done something like this before.

"We have played small shows to intimate audiences, but this is our first church. What we know of Other Voices is that it is something very special and also the town of Dingle is a really special place."

With a career spanning years and a catalogue of indelible anthems, the band performed their smallest show in decades, paying tribute to the grassroots DIY community culture they came from.

Philip King, Other Voices founder, described the performance as "a wonderful musical gift," saying it was "the smallest stadium gig in the world."

Other Voices Presents: Foo Fighters Live in St James’ Church airs on RTÉ2 at 9.30pm on Easter Monday, April 6th and will be available to stream worldwide on RTÉ Player.
