Wicklow four-piece Florence Road have been announced as special guests for a Kings of Leon gig in Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick, on July 1st.

Tickets priced €89.75 and €99.75 are available now via Ticketmaster.ie.

Florence Road, which consits of Lily Aron, Alibhe Barry, Emma Brandon, and Hannah Kelly, have been praised by NME, Rolling Stone, Clash, and The Line of Best Fit, and have a devoted audience of nearly 1 million followers.

The group released their debut mixtape, 'Fall Back', last June.

It will be a big deal for the Wicklow group, as Kings of Leon headlined Electric Picnic in 2025 and have a rich tour history including Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading and Leeds, numerous Lollapalooza's in Berlin, Sao Paulo, Chicago, Santiago, plus multiple open-air Irish concerts including Slane Castle in 2011.

Last November, Kings of Leon dropped an EP with four new songs. Other recent releases include a ‘Live in Jersey’ single from Zach Bryan featuring Bruce Springsteen and Kings of Leon, covering the Springsteen classic “Atlantic City’, and, prior to that, a couple of new songs with Zach Bryan.
