Katie Taylor will appear on RTÉ's Late Late Show on Friday evening.

She will talk about her career inside the ring, her legacy in getting women's boxing added to the Olympic Games in 2012 and work-life balance.

She will also talk about family life in America and her plans for the future.

The champion boxer, who is very private about her personal life, made her first public appearance with her husband in September at an event in Ashford, Co Wicklow.

The event was for Tiglin, a charity dedicated to helping victims of homelessness, addiction and social exclusion.

According to the Irish Mirror, Ms Taylor's husband Sean McCavanagh, 47, is a real estate broker.

Ms Taylor, 39, is now the stepmother to five children - two sons and three daughters -  aged from 11 to 23.

Actress and activist Jameela Jamil, Irish jockey Rachael Blackmore and Dancing with the Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian will also appear on this week's Late Late Show.
