Wexford tenor and TV host Michael Londra will be back in Ireland this month to film the sixth season of his hit TV show.

Ireland With Michael is a critically acclaimed TV series that airs to millions of viewers across the United States on PBS, an American TV network, with filming supported by Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism NI.

Season six, which is set to air in early 2026, follows the same format as previous seasons, comprising eight half-hour-long episodes filmed at various locations across Ireland.

This season will feature a 'catch and cook' segment with celebrity chef Donal Skehan, filmed in Howth.

Filming will also take place at the Hill of Tara, Knowth, Dowth and Trim Castle in Co Meath; Navan Centre & Fort and Long Meadow Cider in Co Armagh; and Killykeeghan National Nature Reserve in Co Fermanagh.

Michael and the crew will also visit Sliabh Liag in south-west Co Donegal, before making their way along the Wild Atlantic Way to Inishbofin and Doolin.

Music, culture, and outdoor activities are set to be a key part of the filming itinerary for season six, from traditional music sessions, set dancing and road bowling, to electric biking in Glenveagh National Park and kayaking on Lower Lough Erne to Devenish Island.

Michael is also set to film a sheepdog demo at Atlantic Sheepdogs in Co Sligo and learn about the art of distilling at Loop Head Distillers.

Alison Metcalfe, head of North America at Tourism Ireland, said that it is delighted to suport the filming.

"We look forward to it airing on the PBS network next year. PBS is available to view in over 100 million households across the United States, so this will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase Ireland, our rich culture and authentic visitor experiences to a huge audience, inspiring the viewers to book their trip to Ireland."
