Steven Gerrard announces live show at Dublin's Vicar Street

Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has announced a live show at Dublin's Vicar Street next month.

The event on June 27th will see Gerrard relive some of his most memorable moments with football fans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Liverpool's Champions League win in Istanbul.

"I'm thrilled to be coming to Dublin to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our incredible Champions League win," Gerrard said.

"It's a moment that will forever be etched in my memory, and I'm looking forward to sharing some of my favourite stories and memories with the fans along with all things Liverpool FC and this season’s momentous 20th League Title."

Tickets are from €70.70 on sale this Friday at 10am through Ticketmaster.

The event comes after Gerrard (44) left his role as manager of Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq with the club 12th in the 18-team table, having lost eight of their 17 matches.

Gerrard insisted his spell in charge was a positive experience after he and the club mutually agreed to part company.
