Nicki Minaj took to the Malahide Castle stage an hour and a half late on Saturday night, leaving many fans disappointed.

In what was meant to be a nearly two-hour set, the 'SuperBass' singer was on stage for only 45 minutes.

It's not the first time Minaj has been late to her own gig.

In April, she was three hours late to her Montreal show, blaming airline delays.

Fans expressed their anger and disappointment on social media.

One wrote: "Nicki Minaj hours late to her own show in Dublin/Ireland then after 5 minutes storms off stage because her own DJ plays the wrong setlist. Thousands of people let down once again by the Artist herself, shameful & disgraceful."

Another added: "@NICKIMINAJ any chance you could make an appearance on stage in Dublin? 45 mins left til closing ?!?!? What a joke."

One person urged MCD Productions not to work with the American rapper again. "@mcd_productions I sincerely hope you will never represent @NICKIMINAJ again. She should be banned from Dublin. Who will be compensating all the fans she has let down this evening? She’s clearly under the influence of something mind altering. Can’t lip sync to her own songs."

Despite the fact Minaj arrived late and played for only 45 minutes, she made no reference to it in a post on social media captioned: “This is not a festival. This was #GagCityDublin Ireland a couple of hours ago. The crown is with them from this day forth. I’ll post the rest tomorrow.”

This prompted hundreds of angry comments from fans, with many asking for a refund.
