Richard Taylor, formerly deputy registrar of the University of Leicester, is bringing legal action over a portrayal of him in the film The Lost King.

The series will track Savile’s rise to becoming one of the biggest stars in television and will also focus on his years of sexual abuse.

The 46-year-old went to the home of actor Oliver Savell to tell him the good news.

The actor’s upcoming film, The Lost King, tells a fictionalised version of King Richard III’s remains beneath a Leicester car park in 2012.

The character played by Steve Coogan joined the band during their penultimate London stadium show.
