The 56-year-old singer was found dead by UK police at her apartment in south London on July 26th, 2023. 

“I always had this great respect for the woman. She was a leader in many ways for so many young Irish artists, particularly female artists. She opened doors for people abroad," she said.

The country music star works with the Wheatley Foundation on the scheme in Scotland.
