The Indian embassy in Dublin has warned of an increase in physical attacks reported against Indian citizens.

Grants ranging from €27,000 to €183,000 have been awarded to organisations and community groups that have made proposals to improve community safety.

Minister for Justice Helen McEntee has today announced the allocation of grants totalling €2 million, from seized criminal proceeds, to successful applicants to the Community Safety Innovation Fund
