The HSE has admitted that women who tried to self-register with BreastCheck earlier this year had issues viewing their details.

According to figures released in response to a parliamentary question, the HSE screened 137,134 women in 2024, failing to reach its target of 195,000.

The British star, who lives in West Cork with her husband David O’Mahony, thanked the nurses at Cork University Hospital who gave her “compassion, time, and space to share and talk about my experience of a very challenging treatment pathway” which she called “an awful lot to process mentally and emotionally”.
