Pool, No Water, Everyman, €25, 2pm & 7pm: Final performances of the play staged underneath the Metropole, a shocking and savage story about friendship, ambition, jealousy and art.

Tides Of Tradition, Firkin Crane, €36, 7.30pm: The show has been a huge hit at Acton’s Hotel in Kinsale, showcasing an all-star cast of local dancers and musicians. This theatrical Irish music and dance production explores heritage, emigration, and modern musical fusion.

Christy Moore, Live At The Marquee, €58-84, 8pm: The legendary singer/songwriter is a regular visitor to the tent, and always puts on a wonderful accomplished and evocative show.

Robert Grace, Wavelength, Cyprus Avenye rooftop, €17.50, 7pm: The Kilkenny pop artist has achieved over 200m audio streams and accumulated over half a billion views / streams on TikTok / YouTube.

Live Lizzy - A Tribute To Thin Lizzy and Phil Lynnott, Cyprus Avenue, €15, 7pm: A four-piece Irish Thin Lizzy tribute band who were formed a decade ago.

Sunday

Maddy Prior and Andrew ‘Spud’ Sinclair, Carrigaline Court Hotel, €28: The duo, of Steeleye Span fame, are the headline act for this year’s Carrigaline International Maritime and Folk Festival, which is taking place over the weekend.

European Doctors Orchestra Concert In Aid Of Irish Guide Dogs, Cork City Hall, €25-35, 3pm: An afternoon of world-class classical music to mark the 50th anniversary of the charity.

Saturday

Carrigaline Lions Club Duck Race, Main Street, Carrigaline, €5-10, 5.30pm: Get ready for an exciting day as hundreds of ducks take to the water in a race to the finish line! In aid of the Carrigaline First Responders.

The Irish Chili Festival, Marina Market, free, 10am-8pm: This family-friendly event features over 60 artisan hot sauce vendors, live music, the Clifton Chili Club amateur eating competition, and the ‘Great Irish Pub Heat-Off’. Also Sunday.

West Goes West Weekend, Connollys of Leap and Levis Corner House, Ballydehob, from 3pm, 1-day ticket, €30, 2-day ticket, €50: A music and arts festival at the two venues on Saturday and Sunday, featuring live music and community events.

The Ewe Experience Wildlife Weekends, €10, 10am: A 1km art and nature trail along a stunning waterfall.

Sunday

The Cork City 48-Hour Film Challenge, Everyman, €15, 5.30pm: Teams of filmmakers across Cork have had just two days to write, shoot and edit original short films. Now the screening and awards show takes place.
