Lovesong, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm, €18: Last chance to see the play, written by Abi Morgan, the story of one couple, told from two different points in their lives, as young lovers in their thirties and as worldly companions looking back on their relationship.

Robbed, Glen Theatre, Banteer, 8pm, €15: A new comedy, by Ray O’Sullivan, a hilarious story of failed GAA players, massive misunderstandings in love, betrayals... and Bingo balls!

Emma Doran: Emmaculate, the Everyman. 8pm: The show by the comedian, best-selling author, podcast host and viral online star is sold out - but she has added a date at the venue on October 9.

The Ennio Morricone Experience, Everyman, 8pm, €31: A band of acclaimed international artists bring back those unforgettable themes from A Fistful Of Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Cinema Paradiso and The Mission.

Notify, Briery Gap, Macroom, 8pm: Six-piece contemporary instrumental ensemble consisting of Pádraig Rynne (concertina), Tara Breen (fiddle), Davie Ryan (drums), Rory McCarthy (piano), Adam Taylor (electric bass) and Hugh Dillon (acoustic and electric guitar). Their most recent album, Arineán, in 2024 was named Folk Album Of The Year by The Irish Times.

Clare Sands, Coughlan’s Bar, Cork city, 6.30pm, €22.50: Clare is a sixth generation fiddle player and bilingual singer, weaving traditional roots with contemporary sounds and influences.

Mike Denver, Cork Opera House, 8pm, €36: The musician performs a high-energy show, including special guests Brendan Shine, Effie Neill, and Jack Keogh.

Susan O’Neil, Coughlan’s Bar, Cork city, 2.30pm, €25: A songwriter of hidden depths, with a timeless voice.

Deep Dish, Cyprus Avenue, 11pm, €28.50: American-Iranian duo, Ali ‘Dubfire’ Shirazinia and Sharam Tayeb, have been global icons in house music with their quintessential sound.
