It Was Just an Accident, Briery Gap Theatre, 2pm; Briery Gap is proud to be partnering with the 70th Cork International Film Festival for Super Cine Saturday. Directed by Iran’s most celebrated filmmaker, Jafar Panahi, It Was Just An Accident won this year’s prestigious Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Tickets €12.50
Misterman, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm; Thomas is on a journey. Where did it begin? What voices does he hear? And what will they tell him to do? In the first Cork production of Misterman in 25 years, ALSA Productions and James De Burca unite to bring this dark but funny tale to the Cork Arts Theatre stage. Tickets €22.

Cian Ó Cíobháin, The Pav, 11pm; Best known for his curation of An Taobh Tuathail on RTÉ RnaG, which he’s been hosting since its very first transmission in 1999, this will be Cian’s first DJ set in the city he was born in since before the pandemic. Tickets €11.70.
