Sounds of Cork: Looking back on a summer of song

Sounds of Cork Artists 2025

It has been a summer of song with our Sounds of Cork featuring some of the city’s best buskers.

Over the past number of weeks, Sounds of Cork took you on a journey of the city streets. From the noise of the bustling English Market, chatter as friends soaked in the sun outside cafés and restaurants on Oliver Plunket Street and tourists overheard discussing the wonder that is Leeside.

Despite all the background noise, the sounds of the musicians on the street rose above.

We spoke with a few of the city’s finest artists and musicians, we heard their stories, we heard their voices and we heard their music.
