Two Cork families will be facing off against each other when the next episode of Ireland’s Fittest Family airs on RTÉ1 tonight at 6.35pm.

Both clans are also mentored by Cork coaches as they undergo the challenges.

The Cooney family is coached by camogie great Anna Geary, and the Dempseys have athletics legend Sonia O’Sullivan in their corner.

Will they both be among the two families to qualify, as they compete against the Maguire family from Wicklow, mentored by Donncha O’Callaghan, and the Ferns family, coached by Davy Fitzgerald?

The families must each take on a Fittest Family classic with a twist for 2025 - Raft Rage: The Rivals - and then will face the High & Dry challenge.
