Cork hurler Séamus Harnedy has retired from inter-county action.
The 36-year-old made his league and championship debuts for the Rebels in 2013, having come to the fore in back-to-back Fitzgibbon Cup victories for UCC.
During his career in red, Harnedy won Munster SHC titles in 2014, 2017, 2018 as captain and 2025 as well as the league in 2025. He won an All-Star in his debut season with two more following in 2018 and 2024.
"I’ve had the honour of playing with and against some of the greatest hurlers of all time," He wrote in a statement on Instagram.
"On top of that I’ve had the privilege of working under outstanding management teams and mentors but the time has come to step away.
"Incredibly grateful for the support from my family, my friends, my club, St Ita’s and the people of Cork."
