Patrick Horgan and William Buckley chasing Kanturk pair in PSHC scoring races

One game remains in each of the top three grades, with the finals now set. Kanturk hurlers currently lead both the overall and from-play Premier Senior charts, but forwards from the northside and southside are in with a chance of claiming top spot in the decider.

Brian O’Sullivan still leads the overall PSHC scoring with 2-53, but Glen Rovers’ Patrick Horgan sits 10 points behind and in with a chance of taking first. Shane Kingston remains third after grabbing 1-38 for Douglas, but Ben Cunningham needs only three points to take third from him.

In from-play scoring, Colin Walsh is top with 2-17, but William Buckley needs one point in the final to draw level, and Glen Rovers’ Eoin O’Leary is only two points further behind Buckley with 3-11.

Fionn Lardner remains top of the SAHC charts, with Ger Collins and Shane Barrett tied a point behind, though Conor Lenihan and James Mulcahy are the only players in the top 10 who can still add to their tallies. Lenihan trails Lardner by four points, while Mulcahy is six back.

Watergrasshill duo Adam Murphy and Seán Desmond lead the from-play scoring, with three Carrigtwohill forwards – chief among them Patrick Walsh on 0-20 – inside the top five.

In the PIHC, Brian Kelleher leads the way with 3-40, five points clear of Stephen Wills in second. Dungourney’s Jack Leahy is fourth with 0-39, while his teammate Cillian O’Callaghan is comfortably clear in the from-play scoring with 8-8.
