Three SE Systems Junior Camogie Championship finals saw Bishopstown, Blarney and Kilworth take honours.

Bishopstown 0-14 Midleton 0-10

In the SE Systems Premier Junior Championship, Bishopstown made the better start and led by six points at half-time as Maeve Scannell, Emily O'Donoghue and Máire Ní Fhrighíl all on target.

The Town dug deep with scores from O'Donoghue and Scannell. Midleton responded with a free but fell just short with Silé Og Walsh named The Echo Player of the Match.

Goals proved vital for Blarney, as they were ahead at the interval 3-1 to 0-6.

Two minutes in, Eabha Lynch showed she was going to be a handful as she finished to the net. Her second goal came on 23 minutes after Kelly Hedderman had grabbed their second six minutes earlier.

Lucy O'Connell pointed a free as Blarney held the lead all through the half. Rockbán were reliant on the free-taking of Nikki Hosford. She had five while Sarah McGrath got their score from play.

The sides swapped points on three occasions before Rockbán grabbed a goal midway through the second half to cut the gap to three points. McGrath and Sarah Ahern followed up with scores to trim the margin to one.

O'Connell was unerring from frees as she slotted over two to settle Blarney, who pushed for the finishing line. Lynch split the posts before O'Connell nailed another free to ensure Blarney were not going to be denied.

Lynch, after a superb display, was named The Echo Player of the Match.

Scorers for Blarney: E Lynch 2-2, L O'Connell 0-7 f, K Hedderman 1-0.

A goal from Lucy Beecher 13 minutes into the SE Systems Junior B final edged Kilworth into the lead 1-3 to 1-1 after Nemo Ranges had made the better start.

Kilworth worked hard and led 1-9 to 1-3 at the interval. They continued to have the upper hand through the second half, despite Nemo's late goal. Kilworth were five points in front at the full-time whistle.
