Fourteen Cork players nominated for PwC Camogie All-Star Awards

Fourteen Cork players have been nominated for the 2026 PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards.
The shortlist celebrates the individual performances and achievements from a record-breaking All-Ireland Championship in 2026.
The winners will be revealed at the PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards in Croke Park on Saturday, November 21.
Fresh from reclaiming the O'Duffy Cup, Cork have 14 players nominated on the 36-strong list. Beaten finalists Galway have 10 included. Meanwhile, semi-finalists Kilkenny and Tipperary have six and four respectively, while Clare and Waterford have one player apiece on the shortlist.
All three of Cork's half-back line have been nominated as Ava Fitzgerald, Meabh Murphy, and Isobel Sheehan are in the running for awards. It will be a boost to the three players as this was their first season playing together.
As well as the 14 nominees for the All-Stars, Cork also have two players nominated for the PwC GPA Camogie Player of the Year award. Laura Hayes, who won the award two years ago is nominated, along with Sorcha McCartan, with both players having outstanding seasons for Cork. The other nominee is Galway's Carrie Dolan. McCartan will be favourite to win this award for her consistent displays over the season.

After a remarkable 2026 season for our sport, I look forward to marking their achievements on November 21.
