Clubber TV begins football championship coverage with heavyweight first‑week schedule

Clubber TV will open its 2026 Cork programme with four live games across the first week of the McCarthy Insurance Group Football Championships, offering supporters an early look at both Premier Senior and Senior A action. 

It is a strong spread of fixtures, mixing a local derby with heavyweight clashes and a Saturday double-header that should draw significant interest.

The Cork County Board finalised a deal with the streaming service in 2025 to broadcast club championship matches for three seasons. It replaced the Rebels Online platform, which the board operated during the 2023 and ’24 campaigns.

The cameras roll on Wednesday evening with a genuine Avondhu derby: Kilshannig meeting Clyda Rovers in Charleville at 7.30pm. Both clubs know the value of starting well in Senior A, and the rivalry adds an edge to this one. 

On Friday, attention shifts to Ballinhassig where champions St Finbarr’s begin their Premier Senior defence against Carrigaline from 7pm. 

The Barrs’ first outing is always closely watched, and Carrigaline’s athleticism ensures they will be tricky opponents. For Clubber TV, it is a marquee early fixture, a tight venue, and a chance to gauge how the title holders are shaping up.

Saturday brings two Premier Senior games. At 4pm in Cloughduv, Nemo Rangers face Newcestown — a repeat of last year's semi-final belter. 

Nemo’s experience and structure will be tested by Newcestown’s physical edge. 

Later, at 7pm in Carrigadrohid, Knocknagree take on Clonakilty in what may prove one of the weekend’s most intriguing contests. 

Knocknagree are the new boys after winning the grade below in 2025.
