Cork’s favourite professional boxer Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan will share his boxing stories with fans alongside former world champion Steve Collins in Belfast on May 22.

This unique event organised by Superstar Speakers company at the Crowne Plaza Belfast will feature fascinating stories across their remarkable careers, from championship glory to unforgettable moments inside and outside the ring with insight, humour and honesty.

Everyone will have the opportunity to take a professional photo with these boxing legends while Platinum guests will also receive a dual-signed boxing glove.

O'Sullivan is looking forward to sharing the stage with his good friend Collins and hopes the event will be staged in Leeside, New York and Boston in the future.

"People can come and listen to stories from the lives and careers of both Steve and myself to get signed memorabilia and have pictures taken,” Spike said.

This will be a totally new experience for me, but I'm really excited to be sharing a stage with Steve, sharing our experiences and stories and I'm sure Steve will have quite a few insights into taking on and beating the best.

“I was at a fight in Nottingham about six months ago and the owner of the Superstar Speakers company Jay Hemmings approached me at ringside to ask me would I meet him to talk about coming on board to do some gigs with Superstar Speakers.

"We met next day and he thought that Steve Collins and myself would be a good duo with lots of stories to tell about our careers.

"After we do the event in Belfast we might come to Cork, New York and Boston, which is really exciting as it will give a great insight into what both of us did in our careers."

The Superstar Speakers have raised awareness and tens of thousands of pounds in donations for different charities and good causes over the years.

One of their partners is Rainbows Children’s Hospice, who provide palliative care for children and young people with life-ending illness and are they are delighted to help this charity with this event.
