The Camogie Association, in partnership with PwC, announced the winners of the 2025 PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards, celebrating the outstanding achievements, dedication, and skill of the game’s top performers over the past season.

Five Cork players were named on the team as Libby Coppinger, Laura Hayes, Ashling Thompson, Saoirse McCarthy, and Amy O’Connor were all honoured.

Six other Cork players were nominated but Amy Lee, Laura Treacy, Meabh Cahalane, Orlaith Cahalane, Katrina Mackey, and Emma Murphy were not selected for overall honours.

Cork Camogie congratulated the winners for their ‘richly deserved awards and the recognition for everything they brought to camogie this year’.

They also commiserated with the others, saying: ‘You will always be stars in our eyes. We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved this year, your effort, attitude, and consistency have been exceptional’.

It was an unforgettable evening for All-Ireland senior champions Galway, who were rewarded for their superb season, claiming eight All-Stars awards in total.

Tipperary and Waterford both came away with one award each, for the Premier County’s defensive stalwart, Mairéad Eviston, and the Déise’s leading light in attack, Beth Carton.

In addition to the All-Stars, the coveted PwC GPA Camogie Player of the Year awards were presented across three grades: Senior, Intermediate, and Premier Junior.

Galway’s Aoife Donohue has been crowned the PwC GPA Camogie Senior Player of the Year.

Grace Teehan (Offaly) was named the PwC GPA Camogie Intermediate Player of the Year.

Laois’ Aimée Collier was voted the PwC GPA Camogie Premier Junior Player of the Year.

Galway’s Cathal Murray was awarded the PwC Camogie Manager of the Year gong, recognising his success with the Galway camogie team.

This year’s success for Galway was their third senior title (2019, 2021, 2025) under Murray’s watch, while he also steered the county to the inaugural U23 A All-Ireland title in July.

Brian Molloy, president of the Camogie Association, said: “I want to extend my warmest congratulations to this year’s PwC Camogie All-Stars and Soaring Stars, to Aoife, Grace, and Aimée on their PwC GPA Player of the Year awards, and to Cathal for being named Manager of the Year.

“Each of these award winners has inspired their teammates, their clubs, and their communities through their performances. Their incredible standards displayed this year have brought Camogie to new heights. Comhghairdeas libh uilig.

“I would like to sincerely thank PwC for their continued partnership and commitment to recognising excellence across all levels of Camogie.

“Go raibh míle maith agaibh freisin to the GPA for their support for our athletes, and for working with us on these awards.”
