It’s a big weekend ahead with three Cork football teams looking to book their spot in their respective provincial finals.
St Finbarr’s, Aghabullogue and Buttevant have all been focused and determined since winning county titles on Leeside as they chase more silverware before the campaign comes to an end.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Barrs after their AIB Munster Club SFC quarter-final victory over Clonmel Commercials last Saturday afternoon in Clonmel.
Brian Roche’s side take on Éire Óg of Ennis on Sunday at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh with throw-in at 3.30pm.
The Barrs last tasted Munster glory in the 2021/22 campaign, the last time they competed in the competition.
Rebel sides have done well at senior level in Munster with 31 winners compared to 21 for Kerry.
Dingle of Kerry are playing the other semi-final this Sunday when they meet Mungret St Paul’s of Limerick. Dingle are on home soil and will be hot favourites to advance to the decider.

Moving down, Aghabullogue will be fancied to overcome an amalgamation of three Limerick clubs this weekend.
They lock horns with Askeaton-Ballysteen-Kilcornan in the AIB Munster Club IFC semi-final on Sunday at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh with a start time of 1pm.
Ray Keane’s charges have come through a very difficult championship on Leeside to win the McCarthy Insurance Group PIFC title and those tough games are no doubt a benefit to them.
They defeated Thurles Sarsfields in the Munster quarter-final last Sunday week away from home.
In the other last four contest, Kerry’s An Ghaeltacht travel to Clare to take on Corofin on Sunday.
Finally, it should be a great occasion in Kildorrery on Saturday for Buttevant’s AIB Munster Club JFC semi-final against Ahane of Limerick (1pm).

Joey Hanlon’s side won by 25 points in the previous game against Shamrocks. A closer game is expected this weekend.
On the other side of the draw, Ballymacelligott of Kerry are in Tipperary to face Clonmel Óg.
A team from Leeside won this championship last season in the shape of Kilmurry.
A fascinating couple of days ahead as the three Cork football teams look to extend their memorable seasons.
