The Corn Uí Mhuirí is at an important juncture with the second round of group games taking place tomorrow.
For the six Cork schools that are involved, they are all looking for positive results whether that is to seal a place in the knockout stages or else keep their hopes alive.
St Francis College Rochestown did pick up a point in their opening Group 1 game three weeks ago, but would have been frustrated not to have got the win against Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine Kenmare.
The city school led by four points late on before their opposition rallied.
Liam Sheehan’s side face High School Clonmel tomorrow on UL's 4G surface with throw-in at 12.30pm. The Tipperary outfit had a comfortable win over St Flannan’s College Ennis in their opening game.
In Ben Corkery-Delaney and Dara O’Sullivan, Rochestown have two quality forwards. If they can fire, their team has every chance.

In Group 2, Patrician Academy Mallow must respond from their heavy loss to Hamilton High School Bandon.
Eamon O’Connor’s charges take on Intermediate School Killorglin tomorrow on Bishopstown's 4G pitch at 11.30am. Both teams lost three weeks ago which has added huge importance to this game.
Ben O’Shea was Mallow’s main attacking threat against Hammies. That needs to change.
On the other side of the coin, Paddy Lordan’s Hamilton High School side, last year’s beaten semi-finalists, were excellent in the 13-point win over Mallow.
Eoin Maguire landed 0-10 in the 2-16 to 0-9 victory. They will be confident going into their game tomorrow against Presentation Secondary School Milltown on Banteer's 4G pitch at 1.30pm.
In Group 4, you have a tasty West Cork derby that should draw a decent crowd to Rosscarbery tomorrow for a 1.30pm start. Clonakilty Community College, fresh from a sublime win over St Brendan’s College Killarney, lock horns with Skibbereen Community School.
The latter lost out narrowly to Coláiste Choilm in the first game.
Clonakilty will want to build on the opening round win and with the likes of Seán Whelton, Dylan Harrington and Jack Byerley, they have the firepower.
Dan McCarthy and Niall O’Callaghan will be key players for Skibbereen Community School.
Finally, Coláiste Choilm will look to take a big step towards qualification when they take on St Brendan’s tomorrow on Bishopstown's 4G (2.30pm).

Danny Miskella missed the win first day out due to injury. It remains to be seen if he plays any part in this one.
The likes of Luke O’Mahony and Cian Ahern did the bulk of the scoring last month with Peter Rose and Colm Herlihy excellent in defence.
