Two of Cork's professional fighters Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan and Cathal Crowley will be back in action at the National Stadium in Dublin on October 10th.

O’Sullivan will be in action against Polish native Mateusz Pawlowski, while Crowley will clash with Kerryman Kevin Cronin in an eagerly-awaited showdown for the IBU Light Heavyweight title.

The night of top class professional Irish boxing will be stacked with domestic championship battles and will also feature some of the future stars of the sport and will be brought to fight fans by JB Promotions, and broadcast live around the world on TrillerTV.

Titles will be on the line and rivalries settled, with the four corners of the country represented within the ring at the home of Irish boxing.

Legendary former world title challenger Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan returns to the stadium for an eight-round bout against Mateusz Pawlowski from Poland.

The 41 year-old’s last outing was against French native Sofiane Khati at the Royal Theatre in Castlebar, where he lost out on points, however, he was just only back boxing after being out injured with a broken ankle he picked up in training for the fight.

The Cork native has globetrotted all over the world where he has been part of some the biggest nights in boxing, and this will be a return to the National Stadium for the first time in 14 years for the Mahon native.

Another huge clash to look forward to is the Light Heavyweight bout for the All-Ireland title as Kerry’s Kevin Cronin goes head-to-head with Cork man Cathal Crowley over 10 rounds for the vacant championship in what promises to be an all-action Munster battle.

Crowley is unbeaten in his seven professional fights to date, and he beat English man Grant Dennis on points in his last fight in the National Stadium last April, however, Cronin also beat Dennis on points in the 3Arena in Dublin earlier this month, so this should be a cracking contest.
