2 – Previous All-Ireland SHC semi-finals between Cork and Dublin, with the Rebels winning both – 1928 and 2013.
2 – Captains for Cork across their championship games, with Shane Barrett leading the side for the Munster final as skipper Rob Downey was unable to start. The last time a Cork captain from Glen Rovers missed a provincial decider was 1990, when Tomás Mulcahy’s injury saw clubmate Kieran McGuckin lift the cup – the Rebels went on to win the All-Ireland that year.
3 – Wins in their last nine All-Ireland SHC semi-finals for Cork, a run dating from 2008. They have won their two most recent last-four appearances, though – against Kilkenny in 2021 and Limerick last year – and prior to that, the Rebels were triumphant in eight out of nine semi-finals between 1986 and 2006.
5 – Matches won by Dublin in the current championship, out of a total of seven. In the Leinster SHC, they overcame Wexford, Antrim and Offaly before then seeing off Kildare and Limerick in the All-Ireland series. Defeat was suffered against Kilkenny and Galway in the round-robin provincial championship.
6 – Leinster SHC titles in a row for Kilkenny, dating back to Wexford’s provincial triumph in 2019. All of the half-dozen consecutive wins in the decider came against Dublin or Galway.
6 – Years since Tipperary’s last All-Ireland SHC title. Of the four semi-finalists, they have the shortest gap to bridge, compared to ten for Kilkenny, 20 for Cork and 87 for Dublin.

8 – Consecutive hurling championship sellouts for Cork – a run dating back to last year’s All-Ireland semi-final win over Limerick, which was the first time that a last-four tie was played before a full house without being attached to another male senior match.
8 – Years since Limerick were last absent from the All-Ireland hurling semi-finals. In 2017, eventual champions Galway, Waterford, Cork and Tipperary comprised the last four. One has to go back to 2014 for the last time that Cork, Tipp and Kilkenny were in the semi-finals at the same time.
10 – Goals scored by Cork in their five Munster championship matches. Brian Hayes and Patrick Horgan have each netted three times, with Declan Dalton, Tim O’Mahony, Shane Barrett and Alan Connolly getting one each.
11 – Years since Kilkenny have beaten Tipperary in the hurling championship, triumphing in the 2014 final replay. Tipp won the two meetings since, the finals in 2016 and 2019.
12 – Wins in a row for Cork against Dublin in the hurling championship – the last reversal was the 1927 All-Ireland final.
26 – Players used by Cork across five championship matches to date. Twenty-one different players have started while there have been 17 different scorers.
31 – Tipperary’s aggregate margin of victory in their two games in the All-Ireland championship – 3-32 to 0-18 against Laois in the preliminary quarter-final and then 1-28 to 2-17 in the quarter-final proper.
152 – Total scoring output by Cork in their five matches so far, 10-122. Patrick Horgan leads the way with 3-42
1961 – The last time Dublin reached the All-Ireland SHC final – they lost to Tipperary.
