Cork have been boosted by the availability of Barry O’Flynn for Wednesday’s oneills.com Munster U20HC clash with Tipperary at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh (7pm).
The Sarsfields man was issued with a red card late in last Wednesday night’s draw with Clare in Sixmilebridge but Cork have been successful in having his suspension rescinded and he is named at centre-forward. Wing-back Ben Walsh was also dismissed against the Banner but, as that was for two bookable offences, his freedom to play was not in question.
O’Flynn had been at number 14 in Clare, with Barry Walsh – scorer of 0-12 out of Cork’s total of 1-16 – now named at full-forward while John Wigginton Barrett wearing 13, having played in the corner with 11 on his back last week as he scored 1-3, all from play.
With O'Flynn cleared, the starting lineup is the same as that which began last week, having had two switches prior to throw-in as John Murphy and Mark O'Brien came in. At midfield, Ryan Deasy is named alongside Eoin Guinane with Timmy Wilk again at number 4, though the latter pair switched for the Clare game.

Attacker Ross O’Sullivan of Na Piarsaigh, who was named to start last week but was limited to an appearance from the substitutes’ bench as he was carrying an injury, is again kept in reserve, while his namesake, Ballinhassig’s Adam O’Sullivan, is again ruled out with a hamstring injury.
The O’Sullivans both featured in last year’s controversial Munster final defeat to Tipp in Limerick, along with six of the starting lineup – captain and corner-back Denis Cashman, full-back James O’Brien Wilk, Ben Walsh, O’Flynn and Barry Walsh.
Tipperary were the Munster and All-Ireland champions at the equivalent minor grade three years ago but Brendan Cummins’ side experienced a shock last week as they lost to Limerick at FBD Semple Stadium. The fact that both sides are looking for their first win should add extra championship edge to the tie.
Senior star Darragh McCarthy got 11 points for Tipp in the 2-13 to 0-17 loss to the Shannonsiders while Sam O'Farrell, Oisín O'Donoghue, Aaron O'Halloran, and Conor Martin all part of Liam Cahill’s squad as well.
Wednesday’s other game sees Waterford make their first appearance of the campaign. Ken McGrath’s side host Clare at the newly renamed Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field in Dungarvan for a game that also has a throw-in time of 7pm.
