Inniscarra and Aghinagh finished all square in the Ross Oil Muskerry JAFC final in Grenagh with the replay fixed for this Saturday afternoon.

Best for Inniscarra Liam Ryan, Jack Dwyer, Sean Sheehan, Frank Horgan, Dylan O'Sullivan, Donal O'Connell, Dominic Kelleher and Sean O'Donoghue, who was central to most of their attacks throughout the game. For Aghinagh, who were champions in 2021, they were best served by Declan Ambrose, Luke O'Leary, Shane Corkery, Thomas Morgan, Con Buckley, TJ Buckley and Liam Twohig.

Heavy rain made conditions slippy in the first half. Aghinagh got off to a good start with early points by Twohig (free) and Gearoid O'Sullivan.

In the eighth minute, a foul on Con Buckley led to another pointed free by Twohig. Inniscarra had to wait till the 12th minute for their opening score by Donal O'Connell after good play by Sean Sheehan and Cork hurling captain Sean O'Donoghue.

The impressive O'Donoghue added a point again after good work by Sean Sheehan. In the 24th minute, O'Donoghue's free cut the lead to a point.

Aghinagh defended well before the break. Twohig was put through for a fine point by Luke O'Leary.

In injury time Dylan O'Sullivan pointed a free for Inniscarra that cut the lead at half time 0-5 to 0-4.

The rain eased off in the second half. Both defences were very solid. Aghinagh had an early point when Twohig worked well for TJ Buckley who kicked over. Shane Corkery with a point made it 0-7 to 0-4.

Inniscarra came very strong. They used the short passing to good effect. O'Donoghue had three points in succession that levelled 0-7 each after 40 minutes.

A minute later good play from O'Donoghue, a former Cork U20 football captain too, led to a lead point by Donal O'Connell.

Aghinagh rallied and a foul on Michael Horgan led to an equalising Twohig free but they missed a very good goal chance through Gearoid O'Sullivan.

Inniscarra's Dylan O'Sullivan edged them Scarra back in front and then O'Donoghue placed Donal O'Connell who made it 0-10 to 0-8.

Aghinagh recovered again and gained supremacy in midfield but had a number of wides. In the 52nd minute, a foul on O'Sullivan led to another Twohig free but they'd three more wides before Eoghan McCarthy placed Declan Ambrose for the equaliser followed by the final whistle.
