The GAA have granted permission for SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh to host the Republic of Ireland's last Women's Euro 2025 qualifier, against France on Tuesday, July 16.
Eileen Gleeson's side have played England and Sweden at Aviva Stadium during the current campaign but it is unavailable in July due to maintenance work after concerts. While Tallaght Stadium has often been used in the past, the dates clash with Shamrock Rovers' Champions League qualifiers.
The GAA's Central Council and management committee met on Saturday and approval of the use of the Páirc for its first senior international was granted.
The venue first held a soccer game in 2018, when Manchester United legends took on a mix of former Celtic and Republic of Ireland players, while Munster have played South Africa (November 2022) and the Crusaders (February of this year) and it was earmarked for a home Investec Cup semi-final if the province had reached that stage.
